As I've learned - planning ahead is everything! I must plan to succeed.
I need to plan ahead for the week. Our 28th anniversary is coming up, Seafair weekend - the Blue Angels - etc... so I need to be prepared for a healthy weekend. If I don't plan ahead I can see disaster written all over the place.
Sunday is a church dinner. Potluck dinners can be a major set back if I don't plan ahead. Let me see, what else do I need to plan for? Every day snack attacks. If I have planned ahead, I won't gain weight just because of a bad snack day.
So... I need to write out a plan for the week.

Food Diary
I'm keeping a food diary. It doesn't do me much good if I don't keep it up to date. My goal this week is to keep up with my food journal.
Lose 2 Pounds
I want to lose another 2 pounds this week. I know this takes some dedication to my diet and exercise. I can do it!
30 Minutes of Exercise Daily
My exercise includes:
- pilates
- cardio
- walking
- strength training with weights
My goal is to work out for at least 30 minutes each day. Working out 60 minutes one day does not mean I can skip a day.
3 Diet Sodas
I haven't cut out soda, but I will cut down to 3 diet sodas this week. For some reason, I haven't been able to cut it out 100%. I think cutting down to 3 this week will be good for me. Cutting out regular soda has been difficult, so making the switch to diet is a better choice for me.
Drink More Water
My goal is to drink more water this week. I drink filtered tap water.
To help me with my goal this week, I will measure out my water in the morning and keep it in the refrigerator. As I pour a glass of water, I can see my progress, as the water level in the pitcher goes down. By the end of the evening my pitcher should be empty.
Okay, it sounds easy enough in thought... I can do this!
